Apple Praline Pie

Ingredients

5 cups sliced apples
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp quick-cooking tapioca
1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup butter
1 whole Refrigerated pie crust, 9"

Preparation

Combine apples, sugar, tapioca, and lemon juice in a large bowl; let stand for 15 minutes.

Combine remaining ingredients, except pie shell, cutting in butter until crumbs form.

Sprinkle one third of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the pie shell. Cover with the apple mixture; sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.

Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for about 25 minutes longer or until nicely browned.
