Student Achiever Program
Nomination Process and Eligibility
Only a principal, teacher, guidance counselor or school administrator may nominate a Remke Markets Student Achiever. To be eligible for consideration, nominated students must:
- Currently be enrolled as full-time students in the 12th grade
- Attend a Northern Kentucky high school in either Boone, Campbell or Kenton County
- Both private and public school students are eligible.
Each Northern Kentucky high school will have a chance during the academic year to nominate a minimum of ONE boy and ONE girl Student Achiever. It is up to each school’s administrative staff to make all decisions associated with those nominations, according to the criteria listed below.
A Student Achiever must be considered a role model by his/her peers, and demonstrate excellence or achievement in at least (2) of the following areas:
- Academic performance
- Leadership ability
- Success in overcoming an obstacle(s): physical, environmental, behavioral or any other obstacle
- Athletic prowess
- Determination to set and succeed at personal goals
- Community support/involvement through volunteerism, fund-raising or other charitable work
Recognition and Scholarship Grand Prize
At the conclusion of each school year Remke Markets will host the Student Achiever’s Banquet where nominees will be recognized for their nomination.
All Student Achievers will be eligible for the grand Prize Drawing of a cash scholarship. The random drawing will take place at the Student Achiever’s Banquet. Each Student Achiever has an equal chance of winning the Grand Prize.

All Remke Markets Student Achievers will appear in some or all of the following advertising vehicles.
Students must have the appropriate parental approvals to appear in:
- Remke Markets in-store signage
- Weekly Remke Markets circulars (appearing in the newspapers)
- Television commercials
- Article/advertising in the Kentucky Enquirer
- Any other press/advertising deemed appropriate by Remke Markets
